PTA UPDATE:- SMS & VOICE PACKAGES WILL REMAIN CONTINUE

A day ago news sources gave a breaking news regarding Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), that PTA ordered all mobile phone / telecom companies of Pakistan to stop all sms and voice pacakages. Almost all mobile companies and news channels confirmed this. The source of this news was a Pakistan website that provides technology news "propakistani". A letter in support was also circulated on internet which created a great sensation the copy of letter by PTA is given below:-

PTA get notice of this wrong interpretation of the news and clarified that sms and voice packages will remain continue only the sms and voice chat rooms will be banned.

As in Pakistan almost all the people are enjoying sms & call packages to get connected with friends & family and it is one of the cheapest way to get connected so this news shocked all such customers of mobile phone companies. But now ater the clarification by PTA, the customers of mobile phone companies will be happy because sms and vocie packages will remain continue but only the sms and vocie chat rooms will be stopped by 02-Sep-2013.
