Punjab Education Department announced different post of teaching / educators in the Punjab Province. In district Lahore 921 posts are announced as vacant and candidates can submit their applications up to 05-12-2011 ( 5 December 2011). According to the education department of Punjab all these posts will be filled on merit keeping in view of the priority of the candidate however there will be marks for Tehsil candidates and person having professional qualification. Initially these post are being filled on contract basis. The contract period will be three years from the date of joining. Furthermore, the candidate must have to appear in test / interview conducted by the department for the selection of the educators / teachers. And the selected candidates will go through an initial teaching and computer training after passing the training they will be granted appointment letters.
