EQUIVALENCE OF DEENI ASNAD AND DEGREES ISSUED BY APPROVED DEENI INSTITUTIONS (HEC)

 Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad is the main body deciding different matters pertaining to the universities and universities students in all over the Pakistan. HEC decides which degree is equivalent to which one so that the services of different degree holders of same categories may be utilized for different jobs and matters. 

Recently Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad in its recent meeting which was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of State for Federal Education and professional training with head of religious institutions Ittehad-e-Tanzeemat ul Madaris Pakistan for decision of equivalence of different religious degrees. Higher Education Commission's Equivalence and accreditation committee took following decision regarding equivalence of the following degrees:-

1.    1.       Shadatul Alia Fil Uloomal Arabia Wal Islamia is recognized as equivalent degree to Bachelor BS(Pass) on passing out the subjects Pakistan Studies and English at BS(Pass) from any charted university or AIOU subject to providing equivalence of Sanvia Aama and Sanvia Khasa by IBCC.

2.     2.      Wafaq will admit students in Shahadatul Sanvia Aama according to their own criteria Mutawasta equivalent to Middle. However HEC will not require the certificate of Middle.

3.      3.     Any student who want to take admission in any other subject in Masters (other than Islamic studies or Arabic) from a university after Shahadatul Alia may select any two elective subject (other than Islamic Studies or Arabic) in addition to compulsory subjects.

This decision of HEC will help students to select the relevant subject at the bachelor level of Deeni Madaris to slect well in time. The student will be well aware and will take decision well before time that what he / she has to study in future and which subject he/she should select for better future along with the Islamic Education. As most of the students who get Islamic education depend for their earning of Wazaif etc. Now they may have a earning source depending on their subject of selection.
